MiBanco, Global Money Week
An illustrated poster for Global Money Week with the concept “Por un futuro próspero” (For a prosperous future).
The project
Development of a poster-style illustration for the “Global Money Week” run by MiBanco. The illustration was built on the concept “Por un futuro próspero” (For a prosperous future), aiming to evoke the idea that we should save our money and use it wisely in order to have a better future —or rather, a prosperous one.
It targeted an audience aged 23 to 35, with the goal of creating an illustration that was captivating, eye-catching and youthful; that’s what guided the choice of the banker, the piggy bank, the little pig and the color palette.
Project delivered: advertising poster design.

Initial sketch
Initial sketch built on elements that represent “saving”: a piggy bank stands for putting money aside and thinking about the near future. It takes the shape of a pig, the most recognizable form, to make it more eye-catching.

Elements
The elements were developed separately —both the background and the main characters, the little pig and the banker— following the same idea of a format built on circular elements without sharp points, to add dynamism and a touch of personality, and with mostly curved shapes so the poster feels friendly to the viewer and the illustration is easy to understand.

Color palette
The color palette chosen for the illustration combines bluish greens to convey stability, trust and security, reinforcing the idea of protecting your savings, while soft greens add freshness and optimism. The darker tones provide contrast and visual hierarchy, highlighting key elements, while pure white brings out the clarity of the message. To add warmth and empathy, vibrant pinks make the design more appealing and human.
